We install all of the hardscape work that gives your yard structure and usable space. That includes paver patios for seating and dining, front entryways, walkways around the house, paver driveways, steps and landings, retaining walls for slopes, and low garden walls that frame planting beds or turf areas.
On larger projects, we also build full outdoor living setups — firepit areas, built-in seating, poolside hardscaping, and pads for outdoor kitchens or spas. If it involves pavers, slabs, wall block, stairs, or tying those pieces together into one plan, it falls under what we do every day.

This is where most landscapers cut corners — but for us, it’s the most important part of the entire job.
We start by excavating to the proper depth and removing all soft material. We install a compacted base using quality road crush or ¾" minus, layered and vibrated in lifts to ensure long-term stability. Proper grading is set to direct water away from the foundation and prevent pooling.
Once the base is solid, we begin laying the pavers with precision — aligning each row, cutting tight edges, and maintaining consistent spacing. Borders are locked in with restraint to prevent shifting, and all transitions are finished clean. We don’t leave lips, dips, or lazy cuts. When the install is complete, we sweep in polymeric sand and compact everything again to lock the stones in place.
We leave the site broomed, edged, and spotless — the kind of finish that looks good in a magazine and even better in your driveway.

Longevity comes down to proper installation. If the base is the right depth, compacted correctly, and drainage is handled properly, your patio or walkway should stay solid for decades. Freeze–thaw issues only show up when the prep work is rushed — we don’t cut corners on this.

Pavers and slabs handle movement better than poured concrete in our climate. They’re easier to repair, harder to crack, and create a cleaner look for patios and walkways. Concrete works well for pads and driveways but doesn’t offer the same flexibility or longevity on freeze–thaw soils. See our pavers vs concrete page.

Most installs take 2–5 days, depending on size and weather. Larger patios or multi-area projects can run longer, but we keep a tight schedule and communicate clearly so you always know what’s happening and when.
